Heinrich Funk, b. c1687, Bonfeld. He died 1736, Lancaster Township, Lancaster County. He left his fathers plantation in Lancaster Township/Lancaster Boro to his oldest son John. Henry left a widow, named Margaret who married Andrew Miller by 1 Aug 1747.10 Henry left five children. Jacob Nisley and Jost Musser were guardians of the minor children on 1 Aug 1747. On 1 Jun 1750 Michael Meyer was appointed guardian of Martin and Henry Funk, both children of Henry in place of Jacob Nisley who had died. Heinrich Funk "an Anabaptist" left the village of Bonfeld in Baden for America in March 1717 "with his wife and children" and with Martin Funk and wife and children. On 27 Sep 1717 Henry Funk "late of the Palatinate and now of Strasburg Township and John (Hans) Funk of Strasburg Township" receive a survey warrant for 550 acres in the township north of Conestoga Creek. Henry receive a patent for 350 acres of this land 30 Nov 1717 and John receive the other 200 on the same date. Hans sold that 200 acres to Benedict Brachbill in 1717. Hans bought additional 250 acres in 1715 and sold that land 27 Aug 1737 and moved to Virginia.
