Grace F. Kauffman, 98, of Millersville, died Monday, February 2, 2009 at St. Anne's Retirement Community. She was the loving wife of the late Harry H. "Henner" Kauffman. She was born in Millersville, daughter of the late Amos H. and Nellie Eshleman Funk. Grace stood at market stands in Lancaster for more than 70 years. She also commercially canned her "garden goodies" for decades. She was very active at Grace United Methodist Church where she was a member since 1921 having taught sunday school and was also involved with the women's groups. A graduate of Manor Township High School, Class of 1929, where she was the captain of the Girl's Championship Basketball Team. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by two sons: Skip, husband of Gwen Kauffman, Millersville and John D., husband of Kate Kauffman, Carlisle. Four grandchildren; two step-grandsons; five great-grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren. One brother: Amos, husband of Esta Funk, Millersville. One sister: Anna Mae Kritscher, California. Also, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one half-brother: Abram Herr.

The Funeral Service will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, 163 West Frederick St., Millersville on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Glen R. Weaver, officiating. Interment in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
